Hermit Crabs–A Fun Pet for Kids

 Hermit crabs are easy to maintain. They don’t need extra effort to keep them clean. Just a dip in the water will do. Hermit crabs do not need a huge area to stay. What is important for them are the temperature. Since they come from the tropics, hermit crabs prefer a humid and an appropriate temperature for them to live. When in captivity, hermit crabs’ diet depends on whatever is available. Usually fresh foods are best to feed but bread and any carbohydrates rich content foods are perfectly fine for them.
